Program Level: Certificate Programs
Program Description:

The Cisco Certified Design Associate Certificate program is ideally suited for IT professionals already working in the field who desire to attain greater career momentum in IT networking.

To enroll in the certificate program:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Three years of experience with Cisco equipment and LAN, WAN, and wireless networking is recommended.

This CCDA Certificate program demonstrates how Cisco network infrastructure can help businesses and organizations link with their employees, customers, and supply-chain partners. The program is designed to help students prepare for CCDA certification.* After the CCNA, the CCDA is the next step toward achieving Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP).

The CCDA indicates a foundation or apprentice knowledge of network design for the Cisco converged network. CCDA professionals may design routed and switched network infrastructures and services involving LAN, WAN, and broadband access for businesses and organizations.

*Although certain KCE programs are designed to prepare students to take various certification or licensing exams, KCE cannot guarantee the student will pass those exams. In some cases, field experience and/or background checks may be necessary to be eligible to take or to successfully pass the exams.

KCE's programs are designed to prepare graduates to pursue employment in their field of study, or in related fields. However, KCE does not guarantee that graduates will be placed in any particular job or employed at all.
