The importance of management in a technical environment is a core concept of the Technology Management Certificate Program. Technical is defined to be much broader than computer information systems and technology. It includes engineering, pharmaceutical, chemical, and other technical enterprises. Students who enter the Technology Management Certificate Program are working professionals who have responsibilities in a wide variety of technical, business, management, and support functions of the technology-based enterprise.
