Program Level: Master's Programs
Program Description:

With an M.S. in Nursing (MSN), you can gain the knowledge, skills, and influence to affect more lives and make an even bigger difference-for your patients, your organization, and the future of health care.

R.N. Track: For Registered Nurses with a hospital diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.), or bachelor's degree (other than B.S.N.).

As a nurse, you shape the future of patient care every day. Through our Leadership and Management specialization, gain the knowledge and confidence you'll need to advance your career and become a leader in the field of nursing.

Applicants who have a diploma, A.D.N., or bachelor's degree in a discipline other than nursing and are licensed registered nurses may be accepted in the M.S. in Nursing (MSN), provided they fulfill the general education requirements. Once applicants meet these requirements, they are admitted to Walden and begin taking the foundational courses. Students then progress on to the core curriculum, the specialization courses, and finally, the capstone courses.
